How to Apply

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • be a citizen of a country other than the PRC and in good health both mentally and physically;
  • meet the following requirements:

Application Guide

  1. To find information of Chinese universities and majors they offer from websites () and identify the preferred universities and programs.
  2. Application procedures may vary between institutions and programs. You are advised to contact directly the admission office or the international students’ office at your institutions of interest.
  3. Submit applications to your preferred universities.
  4. Get an admission letter and a JW201/JW202 form (Visa Application Form for Foreign Students Studying in China)
  5. Apply for a visa by referring to the information at

Scholarships
