Introduction
To promote a culture of respect on campus, all 鷻 students — and all college students in the United States — must complete a sexual misconduct and violence awareness and prevention education program. At 鷻 this training is online, interactive and video-based, featuring real-life student testimonials.
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, together with other federal and state laws, protects all people from sexual harassment, violence and discrimination on the basis of gender or sexual orientation.
All 鷻 students—and college students throughout the United States—are required to take an online sexual misconduct, violence awareness and prevention course to promote a culture of respect.
-
New students take a longer, initial course once only and complete it before enrolling in their first-semester classes. Course title: “Not Anymore”
-
Continuing students take a short refresher course every year thereafter and complete it before enrolling in fall classes. Course title: “Every Choice”
All students who are required to take the training will have a “Title IX Not Anymore” registration hold that prevents enrollment in classes. Once the training is completed, the hold will be removed within 24 hours.
