The option in Applied Developmental Science emphasizes the analysis and synthesis of classic and contemporary research in the interest of promoting positive developmental outcomes spanning conception through early adulthood.

The minor allows students to gain an introduction to the study of Child and Adolescent Development. Given the interdisciplinary nature of the field, the minor complements a variety of majors.
