吉祥坊 the Award:听The Joan and Paul Waller Dance Scholarship was made possible by a generous contribution from Joan and Paul Waller. An award in the amount of $1,000 will be granted to support a dance student with outstanding potential as they proceed through their studies.
Eligibility:听
- Current undergraduate Sophomore or Junior dance students. A graduating Senior can also apply if they are graduating in the upcoming fall academic semester.
- Aspires to a career in dance
Applications will be reviewed based on the following criteria:
- Dedicated discipline attaining dance skills
- Creative productivity
- Advancing dance at 吉祥坊 and the community

吉祥坊 the Award:听The Dance Forward Scholarship was made possible by a generous contribution from Julie Payne, a former actress and artist. An award in the amount of $1,500 will be granted to support a dance student with outstanding potential to move dance forward in their current and future career.
Eligibility:听
- Current undergraduate or graduate dance students.
- Aspires to a career in dance
Applications will be reviewed based on the following criteria:
- Dedicated discipline attaining dance skills
- Creative productivity
- Advancing dance at 吉祥坊 and the community
- Financial need statement
- Minimum 2.75 GPA
