ADA Parking
The goal of Parking and Transportation Services is to provide the best in customer service to our campus communities. Parking on campus requires the proper display of a valid ¼ªÏé·» parking permit. Students may purchase semester and annual parking permits on-line via the campus Portal. ÌýFaculty and Staff may purchase semester and annual permits at the Department of Police Services (corner of Darby and Prairie), or at University Cash Services located in Bayramian Hall.Ìý
A valid ¼ªÏé·» parking permit must be displayed along with the distinguishing license plate or placard issued by the state's Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) when the vehicle is parked in a blue space designated for disabled parking on the ¼ªÏé·» campus.Ìý
The misuse of a disabled placard is a criminal offense.Ìý Under the California Vehicle Code 22511.56 (Section b), the disabled placard may be confiscated by a ¼ªÏé·» Police Officer.
¼ªÏé·» does not issue temporary or permanent disabled placards.ÌýÌýA Student or Employee needing a temporary or permanent disabled placard may obtain one by doing the following:
- Temporary or permanent disabled placards can be obtained from any DMV Office. ÌýThis is a "same day" service providing that the person applying has the required form filled out correctly and signed by a physician. ÌýThe required DMV form may be downloaded from theÌýÌýwebsite. ÌýÌý
Ìý(The Automobile Club of Southern California (Triple A) offices a member benefit allowing current members to obtain a temporary or permanent disabled placard from any Triple A office. ÌýThe closest Triple A office to the campus is located at: Ìý9440 Reseda Boulevard in Northridge, California.)
