Transportation
Welcome to the ¼ªÏé·» Transportation Program!
Thank you for visiting our website. Our mission is to reduce the number of single-occupant vehicles commuting to the campus. The air quality and traffic congestion in the San Fernando Valley can improve if we each do our part.
If your schedule and route allow you to use an alternative commute mode (i.e., carpool, vanpool, public transit, walk, or bicycle) any day of the week, we encourage you to do it. You will not only help yourself by reducing your exposure to car traffic and stress, but you will lower the cost of your commute and give the next generation cleaner air to breathe.
The Rideshare Program for Employees provides assistance and information for employees who want to commute to the campus using an alternate commute mode. ÌýThe most popular choices of alternate commute modes include carpools, vanpools, and public transit. ÌýAlso available are "people-powered" modes of transportation. ÌýThose are walking to work or using a bicycle to commute to the campus. Ìý
Please refer to theÌýRideshare Program for EmployeesÌýwebpage for more information.
There are two ¼ªÏé·» Shuttle Systems that serve the campus. ÌýThey are: Ìýthe Housing Shuttle and the Metrolink Shuttle.Ìý Campus departments also have the option of making arrangements to hire the shuttle contractor to provide shuttle services for special events. Ìý
More information is available on theÌý¼ªÏé·» Shuttle ServicesÌýwebpage.

The ¼ªÏé·» Transit Station is an excellent example of the University's commitment to encourage the campus community to use transit as a commute mode to access the campus. All bus services operating at the ¼ªÏé·» Transit Station run Monday through Friday, except Metro Line 167). The ¼ªÏé·» Transit StationÌý
